A spool is exactly what it sounds like: pool and spa combined. Heat it in winter and use it as a large hot tub; cool it in summer for a plunge. In Manson we finished it corner-to-corner in porcelain tile, tucked the cover system out of sight beneath the deck, and let therapy jets and water features carry the rest of the composition.
